MAPS Workers’ Compensation Mediation Program creates the opportunity for parties to
have a quick and cost effective resolution for any type of compensation claim dispute. We have
different time formats and fees listed below depending upon the size and complexity of the claim
dispute. Any size or type of dispute can now be mediated at a relative cost.
For cases to be submitted, simple assess the cases, give us the captions, name of counsel/parties,
and we will proceed to set the cases. You do not have to get agreement from the other side before
submitting cases. Our case managers will contact the other side for agreement, set the case, and
assign the mediator. There is no charge if the case is not set. Cases may be set individually or in
groups. Our facilities and panel allow us to handle multiple settings per day. We can set as many
cases per day as you need to mediate.

75 minute format (most cases):
• Set singularly as individual cases or set back to back
as multiple cases
• $400 per case, includes mediator fees
• Regular hourly fees are charged for cases that exceed
75 minutes
2 hour format (more complex matters):
• $700 per case, includes mediator fees
• Regular hourly fees are charged for cases that exceed
2 hours.

MAPS received over 500 cases from an insurer and within 6 weeks, obtained agreement, scheduled,
and held mediations in multiple locations throughout Florida over a six day period.
