• Attorney Chair (AC) notifies Plaintiff to select panel member within 30 days. • AC notifies Defense to select in 15 days thereafter. • AC notifies 2 panel members to select their 3rd within 15 days. • AC may select member for a failing party within 5 days thereafter, 15 for the 2 panel members • AC must notify LPCF Board within 5 days of panel formation. • AC notifies parties that their submissions are due. • AC notifies parties regarding Motions for Extension of Life of Panel (6 months). • Any party or 2 panel members may request Clerk to issue subpoenas for depositions or discovery. • Any party may request panel to convene within 10 days of receiving submissions. • AC presides over all panel meetings and/or deliberations. • AC sends Opinion to Board and all parties certified within 5 days of it being rendered. • Prescription ends 90 days after receipt of Opinion. • Experts may be deposed. • Opinion is admissible in court. • Panel members may be called as witnesses, but with absolute immunity. • A court reporter may only be present before and after the panel deliberates.

• All parties agree to Fast Track within 60 days of date of letter of notification of AC. • Panel convenes within 12 months. NO EXTENSIONS ALLOWABLE. • AC establishes schedule within 90 days of selection of 3rd member so all occurs within 12 months. • Opinion must be rendered in 12 months or case moves to suit, 90 days prescription, no court order needed. • Plaintiff nominates panel member within 10 days or AC selects. • 2 panel members select their 3rd within 15 days or AC selects. • Claimant must have all discovery to Plaintiff attorney within 30 days of requesting Fast Track. • HIPAA authorizations needed. • Protective order for HIPAA records must be requested within request of Fast Track or panel loses expedited status. • If HIPAA authorizations are not received within 15 days subpoenas may be issued. • AC may convene panel within 10 days of receipt of all submissions. • Either party may question panel before or after report. • Nothing may be recorded. • Opinion can be rendered in 30 days, but in all cases within the 12 months. • Report of Opinion is inadmissible in court. • No panel member may be called as a witness.
