MAPS will arrange for:
• A panel of three judges (more or less based on your preference)
• A facility with food and refreshments, if necessary
• Audio/Visual equipment, upon request
The MAPS moderator will contact you to coordinate all aspects of the proceedings.
You will need only to:
• Provide a copy of all briefs and the record to each judge;
• Appear before the judges and argue just as though you were before the Court
of Appeals or the Supreme Court
The panel will hear the case at the assigned time. Their job is to critically and aggressively
question you about your positions and presentations.
After the first presentation, the judges will meet with the counsel to discuss the issues and
make suggestions as to how you can more effectively present your case. Later the same
day, you will re-argue your case to the same panel.
The fee is $350/ judge/ hour, average total cost approximately $5,500.00.
